Jeep Wrangler 97-06 Stainless Steel Hood Hinges

Customer should use a 5/16 x 18 tap to rethread the nut plate in the hood for the new bolts to go in all the way and seat properly. *Installation note: The cowl panel must be removed to install the hood hinges. The factory spacer plate located in-between the factory hood hinge and the body will probably have to be used so the Jeep's hood maintains proper alignment. The stainless steel bolts that are included may seem hard to tighten. That is because the factory bolts were tapered and these are not.
